Welcome to Parkwood. This community began in the early 1960s. There are a variety of styles of homes, yet most are 1 story homes. It is ideally situated between Chapel Hill and RTP. The layout of the neighborhood is such that many of the homes feel quite private compared to some of the newer communities.  The lots sizes range between .33 and .5 acre primarily- so are somewhat larger than some of the newer communities.
